Pictured below; a new curtainsider complete with 1.5 tonne MBB Palfinger cantilever tail lift built for Woodside Distribution Limited – groupage, distribution and warehousing division of The Woodside Group.
Woodside Distribution Limited entrusted Drumack Coachworks to build a 28 foot curtainside body on this new Volvo FE 260. The cab was ordered factory painted to the Woodside specification and body and curtains coloured to match.

‘Move it or lose it!’ – the VOSA way
Care must be taken when loading and unloading vehicles as the position of the load will have consequences in the event of sudden braking or a collision.
In the case of a rigid vehicle with rear access only, the load will be removed from the rear of the vehicle. After a number of drops it is possible that the front axle could become overloaded as the centre of gravity moves forward – something worth considering when loading the vehicle.
For a curtainsider operator, without due consideration to the order of delivery, it is possible that a space could develop between the load and the bulkhead.
