Real hand hygiene is achieved under hot running water at the ideal constant temperature of 45°C +/-2°C. There are no messy twist taps to retain dirt and grease – just a simple Flipi-tap.
The TEALwash provides more than twenty twelve second washes, from each filling of the 5 litre water tank. It’s easy to fill and empty with a large opening lid for a quick top-up with clean water. Close the bowl after washing and the waste water drains away.

Drumack increase the tail lift service fleet
Two Mercedes Sprinters being prepared for entering service in the tail lift service and weight testing fleet.
A typical Drumack service van interior specification includes; taillift parts specific bins, extendible workbench with vice, integrated Tevo modules for tool and tail lift parts storage.
To enable the highest percentage of tail lift repairs to be carried out on-site Drumack Service vans are also kitted with;
- 12V and 24V in-built electrical systems
- hose making facilities
- welding and cutting equipment
- 240V inverter

Pictured below; a new curtainsider complete with 1.5 tonne MBB Palfinger cantilever tail lift built for Woodside Distribution Limited – groupage, distribution and warehousing division of The Woodside Group.
Woodside Distribution Limited entrusted Drumack Coachworks to build a 28 foot curtainside body on this new Volvo FE 260. The cab was ordered factory painted to the Woodside specification and body and curtains coloured to match.

Desmond Simpson – 30ft Snaplock body with stainless steel locking bars including delta handles.
Snaplock bodies offer weight savings over the conventional GRP construction. Customers have also remarked on their significantly higher resale value.
From an environmental point of view aluminium construction is king – lower weight giving increased fuel economy and fully recyclable sides and bulkhead.

Two Mercedes Sprinters enter service at Drumack
As part of a continued effort to increase capacity, Drumack have again added to the tail lift and shutter service fleet. Drumack now have 9 highly trained taillift engineers and operate 6 fully stocked Mercedes Sprinter service vans.
The two Sprinter vans were supplied by Mercedes-Benz Mallusk.

Factory fitted tow-bars were one of the options selected as this gives a Gross train weight of 7 tonnes. (A useful feature as Drumack weight test tail lifts on customers sites)

The headache of branches and bridges
Watch out for low bridges and overhanging branches!
Attention to route changes or road diversions in relation to the height of your vehicle can save £££’s
- Place a marker in the cab clearly indicating the vehicle height – a quick check before entering a low bridge or service station could save thousands!
- Approach low bridges and areas of overhanging branches at a reduced speed – the slower the speed the slower the ‘can opener effect’
- Pay particular attention when changing vehicle or route – in our experience this is the most likely cause of collisions.
Drumack Coachworks frequently undertake insurance work to repair damaged vehicles. In some instances of more severe damage it is more cost effective to replace the body.
